I began to experiment with acrylic paint because of its versatility and the variety of techniques and surfaces possible with this medium. I have used direct application, stenciling, creating surfaces and designs on paper then using this paper for combinations of collage and direct paint application. For the most part, these portraits depict the inner spirit of the human condition rather than an actual likeness.
